Adjust Lighting Intensity and Color Balance
Access Shader Settings
Open the shader options menu by pressing the designated shader settings key (usually accessed through your mod menu or in-game settings). Look for the TB Shaders configuration panel.
Modify Lighting Parameters
Locate the lighting intensity slider to brighten or dim colored light from torches, lanterns, and other light sources. This is useful if you find the illumination too harsh during nighttime or too subtle during day.
Adjust the color saturation control to make light sources more or less vibrant. Reducing saturation creates a more neutral look, while increasing it makes torches and glowstone emit richer, more dramatic colors.
Fine-Tune Shadow Settings
Find the shadow intensity option to control how dark shadows appear under blocks and mobs. Lower values create softer, more subtle shadows; higher values produce sharper contrast.
If shadows feel too harsh or cause performance dips, reduce the shadow quality setting. This maintains the visual effect while improving frame rate on lower-end hardware.
Test Your Changes
Move around your world in different lighting conditions—underground, at sunset, near water—to see how adjustments affect the overall atmosphere. Save your preferred settings before exiting the menu.
