Installing and Verifying the Mod Is Working

Installation Steps

1. Confirm you are running the correct Minecraft version for the mod file you downloaded.

2. Locate your Minecraft mods folder.

3. Place the mod file into the mods folder.

4. Launch the game through your mod loader profile.

Verifying It Loaded

The fastest check is to look for the mod's content in-game. This mod registers one item and block: the Waypoint Flower. If you can find the Waypoint Flower available to you, the mod loaded correctly.

You can also confirm the recipe type is present by testing a campfire. The mod adds campfire_cooking as its only recipe type, so campfire behavior is the processing side of the mod.

If Something Is Missing

  • Wrong game version: the mod will not load. Match the file to your Minecraft version.
  • Wrong loader: the mod must go in the mods folder of the loader it was built for.
  • No Waypoint Flower visible: the mod did not load; recheck steps 1–4.

After Install

Once loaded, your two things to do are: obtain and place the Waypoint Flower, and use a campfire for campfire_cooking. There are no other items, blocks, or recipe types in this mod, so if both of those work, your installation is complete and correct.
