Planting the Waypoint Flower

Place a Waypoint Flower on grass or dirt at the location you want to mark. It serves as a visual and functional marker for a point of interest, such as a base entrance, a mine head, or a trail junction.

Marking Routes

Plant Waypoint Flower blocks at intervals along a path to create a guided route. Because each flower marks a spot, a line of them makes a trail you can follow back. Use them at turns and forks where the correct direction is not obvious.

Combining with Other Blocks

Pair Waypoint Flower markers with Block Placer setups if you want to automate replanting after harvest. Keep a stack of Waypoint Flower blocks in your inventory when exploring so you can mark new discoveries immediately.

Do not bury the flower under other blocks; it needs to sit on the surface to be visible. If you build over a marked spot, move the Waypoint Flower to the new surface level. For long routes, alternate the flower with torches or other light sources so the path is visible at night as well as by day.
