Cooking With the Campfire Recipe Type

What the Recipe Type Does

The mod registers exactly one recipe type: campfire_cooking. This means any mod-specific cooking happens at a campfire, not in a furnace or smoker.

Setting Up a Campfire

1. Craft a campfire using vanilla materials (logs, sticks, coal or charcoal).

2. Place the campfire on solid ground.

3. Have your raw ingredient ready in your inventory.

Using the Campfire

With the campfire placed, interact with it while holding the item you want to cook. Campfire cooking in Minecraft processes items over time and does not require fuel beyond the campfire itself.

Because campfire_cooking is the only recipe type the mod adds, this is the full extent of mod-specific processing. There is no furnace recipe, no smelting chain, and no crafting-table recipe to learn for this mod.

Combining With the Waypoint Flower

If you are setting up an outpost around a placed Waypoint Flower, a campfire nearby lets you process food on site. Place the Waypoint Flower first as your landmark, then set the campfire beside it. This keeps your cooking station and your reference point in the same spot, so you can find your way back to both.
