Cooking Tree Blocks on a Campfire

What the Campfire Does

The only processing recipe available is campfire_cooking. That means a campfire is your conversion station for turning one tree block into another. Place a campfire, light it, and drop the input block on top.

Running a Cook

Pick the tree block you want to convert from the registry: Agathos, Art of Vines, Baobab, Beanstalk, Beekeeper, Christmas Tree, Falcon, Halcyon, Legion, Malus Domestica, Old Witch, Pumpkin, Redwood, Rust, Sky Island (Chain), Snow White, Snowland, The Aspirant, Waypoint Flower, Wendy, White Fairy, or Yokai. Collect the output before it despawns.

Practical Uses

Campfire cooking is the slow, no-fuel-cost option compared to a furnace. Use it when you already have a campfire set up near your tree farm and only need a few conversions. For bulk work, run multiple campfires side by side, each loaded with the same input block, so several cooks finish at once.

Keeping Inputs Straight

Because many tree blocks look similar in a chest, label or sort your inputs before cooking. Keep the block you are converting from in one stack and the finished block in another. This avoids dropping the wrong species onto the fire and losing the block you meant to keep.
