Making Crunchy Tacos and Double Tacos

Crunchy Taco and Double Taco are the two shell-based taco variants. They use Empty Crunchy Shell instead of a plain Tortilla, so build a stock of shells first.

Empty Crunchy Shell

Craft Empty Crunchy Shell from your Tortilla line. Once you have shells, you can assemble a Crunchy Taco by combining an Empty Crunchy Shell with a filling such as Cooked Penca or a meat component. The result is a Crunchy Taco.

Double Taco

A Double Taco stacks two taco layers. Craft it by combining taco components so the result is a Double Taco. Because it uses more than one filling layer, reserve it for when you have surplus Tortillas and fillings rather than making it your default.

Scaling Up

• Make Empty Crunchy Shell in batches.
• Keep Tortillas and Tortilla Dough stocked.
• Use the Comal for shell prep and the Brick Furnace for Cooked Penca.
• Assemble Crunchy Taco and Double Taco at the crafting grid.

When to Choose Which

Crunchy Taco is the straightforward shell taco. Double Taco is the heavier version when you want more from a single item. Both sit alongside the standard Tortilla tacos like Chicken Taco, Steak Taco, and Fish Taco, so you can mix a full spread from one Corn harvest.
