Tortilla Dough and Tortillas are the base of nearly every taco in TacoCraft. Start by obtaining Corn.

From Corn to Dough

Break Corn to get Corn Kernels. Combine Corn Kernels into Tortilla Dough using a crafting recipe. If you also grow Penca, keep it aside — it is used later for other taco components, not for dough.

Pressing Tortillas

Take your Tortilla Dough and craft it into Tortillas. Tortillas are the flat base you will fold or stack around fillings. Make several at once so you are not stopping mid-cook later.

Where Tortillas Go Next

Tortillas feed into multiple taco recipes: Al Pastor Taco, Barbacoa Taco, California Taco, Carnitas Taco, Cheesy Taco, Chicken Taco, Crunchy Taco, Double Taco, Fish Taco, Golden Taco, Lamb Taco, and Steak Taco. Some of these also need an Empty Crunchy Shell or a Taco Bowl, so plan your batch size around how many different tacos you want.

Practical Tip

Corn is the bottleneck. Plant and harvest Corn in bulk before you start crafting, because every taco path consumes Tortillas. Store extra Tortilla Dough and Tortillas in a chest near your Comal and Brick Furnace so cooking sessions stay short.
