How to Craft Colored Concrete Chess Boards

Choose a Color

Concrete Chess Boards come in Black, Blue, Brown, Cyan, Gray, Green, Light Blue, Light Gray, Lime, Magenta, Orange, Pink, and Purple. Pick the color that matches your floor or wall.

Crafting the Board

1. Gather the matching Concrete color.

2. Open a crafting table and use the shaped recipe for that color's Chess Board.

3. Take the finished block, for example a Black Concrete Chess Board or a Lime Concrete Chess Board.

Matching Timer and Connect Four

Each Concrete color also has a Chess Timer and a Connect Four. Craft them the same way with the same Concrete color. A Blue Concrete Chess Board pairs with a Blue Concrete Chess Timer and a Blue Concrete Connect Four.

Placing the Board

Place the Chess Board on a flat surface with space for two players. Right-click to interact. Leave the surrounding blocks clear so the board is reachable from both sides.

Mixing Colors

You can place different Concrete colors side by side to build a checkerboard floor of game tables, or alternate colors between the board and timer for contrast. Because every color is a separate block, you can combine them freely in one build without extra crafting steps.
