How to Craft a Connect Four Block

Pick Your Material

Connect Four blocks come in wood types and in Concrete or Terracotta colors. Decide whether you want a wooden set or a colored set before you start, because the recipe uses that material.

Wooden Connect Four

1. Choose a wood: Acacia, Bamboo, Birch, Cherry, Crimson, Dark Oak, Jungle, Mangrove, or Oak.

2. Craft the matching planks into the Connect Four block using a shaped recipe.

3. Collect the result, such as an Oak Connect Four or a Jungle Connect Four.

Colored Connect Four

Colored versions use Concrete or Terracotta. Available colors include Black, Blue, Brown, Cyan, Gray, Green, Light Blue, Light Gray, Lime, Magenta, Orange, Pink, and Purple. Craft the matching Connect Four, for example a Red-style color block like a Pink Concrete Connect Four or a Purple Terracotta Connect Four.

Placing and Playing

Place the Connect Four block on flat ground with room for two players to stand on opposite sides. Right-click to interact. Keep the block clear of walls so both players can reach it.

Building a Matching Set

Craft the same material's Chess Board and Chess Timer alongside your Connect Four to make a full game corner. All three share the same material families, so a single stack of planks or a single color of concrete can supply an entire matching set.
