Switch Between Quality Profiles for Better Performance

Locate the Profile Selection Menu

Access the Sytex Sound Shaders options through your shader settings panel. You should see a Profile or Preset option listing available quality tiers.

Understand the Available Profiles

The Medium profile balances visual quality with performance, making it suitable for mid-range systems. It includes colored lighting, basic bloom, and simplified shadows without heavy computational overhead.

The High profile enables full features: advanced PBR reflections, detailed shadow rendering, enhanced bloom effects, and more complex light interactions. Use this if your PC handles demanding graphics well.

Choose Based on Your System

If you experience frame rate drops, stuttering, or lag, switch to Medium. Monitor your FPS after changing profiles to confirm improvement.

If your system runs smoothly and you want maximum visual fidelity, select High to enjoy the full shader experience with realistic surface details and shadow quality.

Apply and Test

After selecting a profile, the changes apply immediately. Explore different areas—caves, forests, and water—to ensure the profile meets both your visual expectations and performance needs.
