Enhance Colored Lighting from Specific Light Sources
Identify Colored Light Sources
Sytex Sound Shaders makes torches, lanterns, glow blocks, and other luminous blocks cast realistic colored light. Torches emit warm orange-yellow tones, while glow blocks and certain decorative lights may cast cooler or distinct hues depending on their material.
Position Light Sources Strategically
Place torches and lanterns near surfaces you want to highlight—walls, floors, and decorative blocks will show colored reflections and realistic shading. The closer the light source, the more saturated and visible the colored glow becomes.
Layer Multiple Light Colors
Combine different colored light sources in the same space to create dynamic, realistic lighting scenes. For example, place warm torches alongside cooler glow blocks to see how the colors interact and blend on nearby surfaces.
Observe PBR Effects
Notice how reflective blocks (like polished stone or certain ores) respond to colored light differently than matte surfaces. This physically based rendering makes lighting feel natural and depth-rich.
Adjust Shader Settings if Needed
If colored lighting feels too subtle, increase the Light Intensity setting. If it's overwhelming, reduce Bloom strength to make colors more refined.
