Sword Case vs Sword Display vs Wall Display: Which to Craft

The Three Variants

Every material in the mod comes in three forms: a Sword Case, a Sword Display, and a Wall Display. For example, Iron Sword Case, Iron Sword Display, and Iron Wall Display. All three are crafted with crafting_shaped recipes and all three hold a sword.

When to Use Each

Use a Sword Case when you want a compact, enclosed mount that reads as storage. Use a Sword Display when you want an open freestanding mount that shows the sword clearly from the front. Use a Wall Display when you want the mount flush against a vertical surface, such as a wall in a trophy room.

Choosing the Material

Match the material to the sword you plan to show. A Diamond Sword Display pairs naturally with a diamond sword. A Netherite Sword Case suits netherite gear. A Gold Sword Display suits gold gear. For decorative contrast, mix materials: an Obsidian Sword Display holding a Diamond sword, or a Purpur Wall Display holding a Netherite sword.

Crafting Order

Craft the variant first, then place it, then mount the sword. If you are unsure which variant fits a spot, place a temporary block and test the Wall Display against it before committing to a full wall of mounts.
