Matching Sword Displays to Your Base Palette

Wood Palettes

The mod provides Sword Case, Sword Display, and Wall Display variants for Acacia, Birch, Cherry, Crimson, Dark Oak, Jungle, Mangrove, Oak, and Spruce. If your base uses Spruce Planks, craft Spruce Sword Displays. If it uses Crimson or Warped-style nether wood, craft Crimson Sword Displays. The block name always tells you the matching wood.

Stone and Mineral Palettes

Stone-based variants include Stone Sword Display, Stone Bricks Sword Display, End Stone Bricks Sword Display, Nether Bricks Sword Display, Obsidian Sword Display, Prismarine Sword Display, Purpur Sword Display, and Quartz Sword Display. Mineral variants include Amethyst, Copper, Diamond, Emerald, Gold, Iron, Lapis, and Netherite. Use these when your build already uses those blocks.

Pairing Display and Sword

A Diamond Sword Display holding a diamond sword reads as a matched set. A Netherite Sword Case holding a netherite sword reads the same way. For contrast, place a Gold Sword Display holding an Iron sword, or an Emerald Sword Display holding a Diamond sword.

Practical Steps

1. Identify the dominant block in the room.

2. Craft the Sword Case, Sword Display, or Wall Display in that material.

3. Place the mount.

4. Right-click with the sword to mount it.

Because every variant uses a crafting_shaped recipe, keep a stack of the matching base material on hand before you start a large installation.
