Building a Sword Trophy Wall with Wall Displays

Laying Out the Wall

Choose a flat wall of solid blocks. Decide how many swords you want to show and space the mounts evenly. Each Wall Display occupies one block face, so plan a grid before placing anything.

Placing Wall Displays

Hold a Wall Display, such as an Oak Wall Display or a Stone Bricks Wall Display, and right-click the wall block. The display attaches to that face. Repeat across the row. For a uniform look, use the same material for every mount in the row.

Mounting the Swords

Right-click each placed Wall Display with the sword you want to show. The sword appears mounted. Right-click again to take it back. You can swap swords at any time without breaking the display.

Mixing Materials

For a themed wall, match the display material to the sword: Iron Wall Display for iron swords, Gold Wall Display for gold swords, Diamond Wall Display for diamond swords, Netherite Wall Display for netherite swords. For a decorative wall, use a single material across all mounts, such as Quartz Wall Display or Prismarine Wall Display, and vary only the swords.

Expanding the Set

The mod includes wall displays for every wood type and every listed mineral and stone type, so you can extend the wall with Acacia, Birch, Cherry, Crimson, Dark Oak, Jungle, Mangrove, or Spruce Wall Displays without changing your build style.
