Troubleshoot Missing or Incorrect Sky Visuals

Common Issues

No change to the sky: StellarView is not installed or not loaded. Verify that StellarView or StellarView: Redshift is in your mods folder and that the game launched successfully.

Resource pack won't activate: Check that you're placing the pack in the correct resourcepacks folder (not the mods folder). Restart the launcher if it doesn't appear in the list.

Planets look wrong or partially visible: Ensure SV Kerbal Skies is positioned above the Default resource pack in your active list. Resource pack order matters—lower packs override higher ones.

Verification Steps

1. Confirm both StellarView and SV Kerbal Skies are installed

2. Check resource pack order in Settings

3. Close and reopen Minecraft completely

4. Look at the sky from multiple locations and times

5. If using Outer Planets addon, verify it's above SV Kerbal Skies

If issues persist, try removing and re-adding the resource pack to your active list.
