What the Cutting Board Does

The Cutting Board is where you break whole ingredients into the slices and fillets that rolls require. Place the Cutting Board, then process your raw items on it. This is the step between harvesting or catching an ingredient and feeding it into the Roller.

What to Cut

Use the Cutting Board to turn Avocado into Avocado Slices, Cucumber into Cucumber Slices, and raw fish into usable pieces. Salmon Fillet and Tuna Fillet are the cut results you need for nigiri, maki, and California rolls. The Cleaver Knife is the tool associated with this preparation step, so keep one on hand when working at the Cutting Board.

Feeding the Roller

Once your ingredients are sliced or filleted, move them to the Roller along with Cooked Rice and Nori Sheets. Avocado Slices go into Avocado Maki. Cucumber Slices go into Cucumber Maki and the Cucumber California variants. Salmon Fillet and Tuna Fillet feed Salmon Nigiri, Tuna Nigiri, Salmon Maki, Tuna Maki, and the California and Gunkan families. Cut everything first, then roll in one pass so you are not switching between blocks repeatedly.
