How to Make Rice with the Rice Cooker

Crafting the Rice Cooker

Place the Rice Cooker as a block before you do anything else. It is one of the five blocks in the mod, alongside the Cooler Box, Cutting Board, Fermentation Barrel, and Roller. Once placed, interact with it to open its processing interface.

Processing Rice

Insert your raw rice input into the Rice Cooker and let it run. The Cooker handles the cooking step for you, so you do not need a furnace or any fuel source beyond what the block itself requires. When the process finishes, pull the cooked rice out of the output slot.

Cooked rice is the base you will need for rolling sushi later. Do not skip this step — the Roller and Cutting Board recipes assume you already have cooked rice on hand.

What to Do Next

Once you have cooked rice, move it to your Cutting Board or Roller station. Keep a steady supply: each roll consumes rice, so cooking in batches saves trips back to the Cooker. If a recipe is not accepting your rice, check that it is fully cooked and not still in its raw form.
