Equip Your Crewmate Totem for Survival Protection

Place the Totem in Your Offhand

The Among Us crewmate totem functions identically to the vanilla Totem of Undying. To activate its protective effects, you must place it in your offhand slot (the slot to the left of your main hand in your inventory).

1. Open your inventory

2. Locate your Totem of Undying (now displaying as a crewmate sprite)

3. Click and drag it into the offhand slot on the right side of your character model

4. Close your inventory

Your crewmate will now be visible in the lower right corner of your screen while exploring.

Automatic Activation During Danger

When you take lethal damage from any source—falling, drowning, mob attacks, or explosions—the crewmate totem automatically activates. You'll see the custom Among Us graphic trigger, and you'll be restored to safety with temporary protection effects, just like the standard totem.

No special actions are required. Simply keep the totem equipped in your offhand and continue your adventure. The resource pack only changes the visual appearance; all vanilla totem mechanics remain unchanged.
