How to Use a Cage in Supplementaries

Placing the Cage

Craft a Cage and place it as a block. The Cage is a containment block used to hold mobs or display captured creatures.

Capturing and Releasing

Interact with the Cage while holding or leading a mob to place it inside. To release, interact with the Cage again. This lets you transport mobs safely or set up decorative displays of captured creatures in a base.

Combining with Other Blocks

Cages work well alongside other Supplementaries display blocks:

• Crystal Display — for showing off items
• Book Pile — for library builds
• Globe — for study or map rooms

Practical Uses

• Move villagers or animals without them wandering off.
• Build a mob museum by lining up Cages with different creatures.
• Use Cages as part of dungeon or prison-themed builds.

Tips

Keep Cages away from areas where you do not want mobs escaping if the Cage is broken. Test capture and release in a safe spot before using it in a build. Because the Cage is a full block, it can be placed on walls and floors like any other block.
