Optimize Performance on Low-End Systems

Enable Performance Mode

Super Halftone Shaders is designed to run light on low-end hardware, but you can further optimize it. Open shader settings and look for performance or quality presets. Select the lowest quality option if available.

Reduce Resolution and Effects

Lower your render distance to decrease the number of blocks being processed with the halftone effect. Disable advanced lighting features if the option exists—this removes complex shadow calculations while keeping the core dot-pattern style.

Turn off any optional post-processing effects like bloom or extra color grading that may be bundled with the shader.

Monitor Frame Rate

Check your FPS while moving through different environments. If performance drops in specific areas (like forests with many leaves), reduce render distance further or temporarily disable the shader in those zones.

Keep your game updated and ensure your graphics drivers are current, as shader performance depends heavily on driver optimization.
