Troubleshoot Clouds Not Rendering or Clipping Through Terrain

Check Cloud Visibility and Horizon Rendering

If clouds disappear at the horizon or clip through tall structures:

1. Use /sfcr help to review available rendering commands

2. Verify your render distance is set high enough—clouds need adequate chunk loading

3. Check that cloud rendering is enabled in your mod settings

4. Confirm your shader (if installed) isn't conflicting with cloud rendering

Fix Clipping and Terrain Interaction

Clouds should naturally dodge around mountain peaks and tall structures. If they're clipping through terrain:

1. Reload your world or use any available refresh commands

2. Ensure biome detection is active—the mod scans chunks to place clouds correctly

3. If using shaders, test with shaders disabled to isolate the issue

4. Check your configuration for any disabled chunk-scanning features

Clouds staying visible along horizon boundaries is a core feature—if this fails, your render distance may be too low or a conflicting mod is interfering.
