How to Use Launch Stars and Star Bits

Collecting Star Bits

Blue Star Bit is the collectible item tied to the star-themed content. Gather Blue Star Bits as you explore and keep them in your inventory — they are the currency-like item for this part of the mod.

Launch Stars

Launch Star is a placed block. Put one down where you want a launch point, then use it to travel. Place Launch Stars at the tops of towers, across gaps, or at the end of a Beanstalk so you have a fast way back down or across. Combine a Launch Star with a Warp Pipe pair to build a two-way route: pipe in, launch out.

Coins and Flags

Coin is a separate collectible item and works alongside Blue Star Bit as a reward to gather. Flagpole with the colored Flag blocks — Black Flag, Blue Flag, Brown Flag, Cyan Flag, Gray Flag, Green Flag — lets you mark locations. Plant a Flagpole at each Launch Star and Warp Pipe destination and fly the matching color Flag so you can identify the route from a distance. Use one flag color per destination to keep the map readable.
