How to Craft and Use Warp Pipes

Crafting Pipe Bodies

Warp Pipes are built from Pipe Body blocks. There are eight Pipe Body colors: Black Pipe Body, Blue Pipe Body, Brown Pipe Body, Cyan Pipe Body, Gray Pipe Body, Green Pipe Body, and the matching Warp Pipe for each color — Black Warp Pipe, Blue Warp Pipe, Brown Warp Pipe, Cyan Warp Pipe, Gray Warp Pipe, Green Warp Pipe.

Craft Pipe Body first, then use it to craft the corresponding Warp Pipe. Keep the colors matched: a Green Pipe Body produces a Green Warp Pipe, not a different color.

Placing Pipes

Place Warp Pipes as you would any block. Pipe Body blocks are the structural segments, and Warp Pipe is the functional piece. Build runs of Pipe Body to connect sections, and place Warp Pipe where you want the pipe to actually do its job.

Because each color is a separate block, you can color-code pipe networks by function — for example, one color for a route and another color for a different route. Mixing colors in a single run still works as a build, but keeping colors consistent makes it easier to trace a line.

Stock up on Pipe Body before you start a long run. Crafting Pipe Body in bulk and then converting the pieces you need into Warp Pipe saves trips back to the crafting table.
