Building with Warp Pipes and Pipe Bodies

Pipe Colors and Components

Warp Pipes and Pipe Bodies come in sixteen colors: Black, Blue, Brown, Cyan, Gray, Green, Light Blue, Light Gray, Lime, Magenta, and the remaining dye colors. Each color has both a Warp Pipe block and a Pipe Body block.

Pipe Body is the straight segment. Warp Pipe is the functional connector. Place Pipe Body blocks in a line to form the shaft of your pipe, then cap or join sections with Warp Pipes.

Practical Placement

Build a pipe run by laying Pipe Body blocks end to end. Use Warp Pipes at corners, junctions, and endpoints where you want the pipe to transition. Because each color is a separate block, you can color-code routes: Green Pipe Body for one line, Black Pipe Body for another, and so on.

Warp Pipes and Pipe Bodies are crafted, not found. Check the crafting table for the shaped recipe for your chosen color, then mass-produce Pipe Body segments before starting a long run.

Combine pipes with Flagpole and Flags for themed builds. Flags come in the same sixteen colors as the pipes, so a Green Flag on a Flagpole next to a Green Warp Pipe creates a consistent visual marker for a route or station.

Pipe Body blocks are solid building blocks, so they double as decorative columns even when not used as functional pipes.
