Using Vials, Venom, and Jungle Spiders

Glass Vial

Glass Vial is a crafted container item. Craft it before heading into the jungle, since it is the vessel used for collecting venom.

Vial of Jungle Venom

Vial of Jungle Venom is obtained by using a Glass Vial on the relevant source. Jungle Spider Spawn Egg places jungle spiders, which are the mob associated with this venom. Once you have a Vial of Jungle Venom, keep it in your inventory for use in crafting or as a component in other recipes.

Jungle Spider Handling

1. Place Jungle Spider Spawn Egg where you want spiders.

2. Bring Glass Vial to collect Vial of Jungle Venom.

3. Store filled vials safely; they are a distinct item from empty Glass Vial.

Jade Shield for Defense

Jungle spiders are hostile, so bring a Jade Shield. Craft it from jade materials before entering the jungle. The shield blocks incoming attacks while you collect venom. Pair it with jade armor upgrades via the Jade Upgrade Smithing Template at a smithing table for additional protection. Stock extra Glass Vials so a single trip yields multiple Vial of Jungle Venom.
