Crafting Copper Buttons

Copper Button is crafted from copper. Place it like any button to send a redstone pulse. It is a compact alternative to stone or wood buttons when you are already working with copper.

Oxidation Stages

Copper Button oxidizes over time through four stages:

1. Copper Button

2. Exposed Copper Button

3. Weathered Copper Button

4. Oxidized Copper Button

Each stage is a distinct block. You can obtain later stages directly or let a placed button oxidize naturally.

Waxing to Lock the Stage

Use wax to lock a button at its current oxidation stage. The waxed variants are:

• Waxed Copper Button
• Waxed Exposed Copper Button
• Waxed Weathered Copper Button
• Waxed Oxidized Copper Button

Waxing prevents further oxidation, so pick the stage you want before applying wax. If you want a uniform look across a build, oxidize or craft all buttons to the same stage first, then wax them.

Redstone Use

All button variants function as redstone inputs. Mixing stages lets you color-code circuits by oxidation level while keeping identical behavior.
