Smelting and Blasting Raw Potassium into Potassium

Set Up Your Furnace

Raw Potassium is the input for two processing recipes: smelting and blasting. Place a Furnace and add fuel, or place a Blast Furnace and add fuel. Both accept Raw Potassium and output Potassium.

Smelting in a Furnace

Put Raw Potassium in the top slot of a Furnace and fuel in the bottom slot. The Furnace smelts the Raw Potassium into Potassium. This is the standard route if you have not built a Blast Furnace yet.

Blasting in a Blast Furnace

Put Raw Potassium in a Blast Furnace with fuel. The Blast Furnace blasts the Raw Potassium into Potassium. Blasting is the faster of the two processing recipes, so use it when you are converting a large amount of Raw Potassium at once.

Managing the Output

Both recipes give you Potassium. Once you have Potassium, you can craft it into Potassium Block for storage or keep it loose for crafting recipes. If you mined a full inventory of Potassium Ore, process the Raw Potassium in batches: load the furnace, do another task nearby, and collect the Potassium when it finishes. Craft the finished Potassium into Potassium Block before it fills your chests.
