Using the Data Handler to Store and Apply Block Data
Capturing Data
Place a Data Handler block. Right-click it to open its interface. The Data Handler stores block state information you feed it from other Structure Gel API blocks. Use it as the central hub when you want one configuration reused across many locations.
Applying Stored Data
Once the Data Handler holds data, point other blocks at it. The Dynamic Spawner and Loot Sampler both read from a Data Handler when configured to do so. Insert the relevant item — for example a Loot Sampler entry — and let the Data Handler hold the reference. When you place a Dynamic Spawner or Loot Sampler nearby and link it, it pulls the stored data instead of requiring you to reconfigure each block by hand. This lets you duplicate spawn or loot behavior across a build without re-entering values. Keep one Data Handler per distinct data set; mixing unrelated entries in a single handler causes the linked blocks to read the wrong configuration. Break and replace the Data Handler only after relinking dependent blocks.
