How to Place and Spread Gel with the Gel Spreader

Setting Up the Gel Spreader

Place a Gel Spreader block on a solid surface. Right-click it to open its interface. Insert any Gel block — Blue Gel, Cyan Gel, Green Gel, Orange Gel, Red Gel, or Yellow Gel — into the slot. The Gel Spreader consumes the gel and pushes it outward across adjacent surfaces, coating them in that color.

Controlling the Spread

The Gel Spreader only spreads the gel type you feed it. To change color, remove the current gel and insert a different one. Each gel block placed inside the spreader extends the coated area further from the source. If the spread stops, the spreader is out of gel — refill it. Use the Gel Spreader to paint floors, walls, and ceilings uniformly before placing other blocks on top. Coated surfaces keep their gel color until overwritten by a different gel from the same spreader or another one. Combine multiple Gel Spreaders with different gel colors to create patterned regions. The spreader does not need fuel beyond the gel blocks themselves.
