Configuring the Dynamic Spawner and Loot Sampler

Dynamic Spawner

Place a Dynamic Spawner where you want mobs to appear. Right-click to open its interface. Feed it data — either directly or through a linked Data Handler — describing what should spawn. The Dynamic Spawner reads that data and produces the configured entity when its conditions are met. To change what spawns, update the data in the handler or replace the entry in the spawner itself. Remove the data source and the spawner stops producing anything.

Loot Sampler

Place a Loot Sampler where loot should be generated. Open its interface and supply the loot data it should sample, or link it to a Data Handler holding that data. The Loot Sampler then emits loot according to the stored table. Use the Loot Sampler together with the Data Handler when several samplers across a build must share one loot table — configure the table once in the Data Handler and link each Loot Sampler to it. If a sampler produces nothing, its data source is empty or unlinked. Reinsert the data or relink the handler.
