How to Unlock and Switch Between Character Power Sets

Finding Awakening Items

Character powers are locked behind awakening items that you must find or craft. Search for items like the Mutant Awakening Serum, Dragon Scroll, Trickster Relic, and Eternal Spark in the world or through crafting recipes. These items are intentionally rare to balance late-game progression.

Binding a Power Set

Once you have an awakening item:

1. Hold the awakening item in your hand

2. Sneak (hold Shift) and use the item on yourself

3. Select the character power set you want to bind

4. The power set is now permanently attached to your character

Switching Powers

You can only have one character power set active at a time. To switch to a different set, obtain another awakening item and repeat the binding process. Your previous power set's skill points are preserved, so you can swap back later without losing progress. Plan your awakening item hunts accordingly if you want flexibility between playstyles.
