Troubleshooting Connected Leaves Not Showing

Why Leaves Might Not Connect

Connected leaf models require proper rendering support. If your inner cubes aren't connecting between adjacent blocks, check your setup.

Fixing Connection Issues

1. Check pack order — move Story Mode Leaves above any other leaf-modifying packs in your resource pack list

2. Verify mod support — if using Sodium or Continuity, ensure they're updated and enabled

3. Reload the world — sometimes changes don't apply until you restart or reload chunks

4. Test with vanilla renderer — temporarily disable Sodium or other rendering mods to see if they're causing conflicts

Confirming It Works

Place several leaf blocks in a 2×2 or 3×3 cluster and look at them from inside the group. You should see solid layers connecting the blocks together. If you only see hollow, transparent leaves, the pack isn't rendering correctly.

If problems persist, try removing conflicting resource packs one at a time to identify which one is interfering.
