Building Dense Forests with Story Mode Aesthetics
Planning Your Forest Layout
The Story Mode Leaves pack shines when you create thick, interconnected tree canopies. Plan forests with trees close enough that their leaf blocks touch or nearly touch.
Building Techniques
1. Space trees tightly — place tree trunks 2-3 blocks apart so canopies overlap and leaves connect
2. Layer your canopies — stack leaf blocks vertically and horizontally to create dense, solid-looking crowns
3. Mix tree types — combine Oak, Birch, Spruce, and other varieties for visual variety while maintaining the solid Story Mode look
4. Use natural generation — grow trees with bone meal in clusters; they'll naturally create connected foliage
Enhancing the Effect
The more leaf blocks you pack together, the more dramatic the solid inner cube effect becomes. Avoid leaving gaps between trees — continuous canopy coverage looks most impressive.
Consider the surrounding terrain too. Dense forests look best with varied ground cover and occasional clearings. The solid leaf models make even simple tree arrangements look fuller and more intentional.
