Adjusting Rain and Storm Intensity
Access Shader Settings
Open the shader configuration menu while in-game. This is typically accessed through your shader options or video settings, depending on your loader. Look for weather or precipitation sliders.
Customize Rain Visibility
Stormweave Shaders offers controls to adjust how prominent rain particles appear on your screen. If rain feels too dense and obscures your view, reduce the rain particle density slider. Conversely, if storms feel underwhelming, increase this value to make downpours more dramatic.
Fine-Tune Cloud Coverage
During storms, you can adjust how dark and heavy the cloud layer becomes. Reducing cloud opacity lets more light through during overcast weather, while increasing it creates a more oppressive, threatening sky. This affects both visibility and atmosphere.
Test Your Changes
Use the /weather thunder command to trigger a storm and immediately see how your adjustments affect the visual experience. Tweak settings incrementally—small changes often have noticeable impacts on immersion. Save your preferred configuration once you find the balance between aesthetics and playability.
