Crafting Chemical Storage Disks and Parts

Start from the smallest part

Every Chemical Storage Disk is assembled from a Chemical Storage Part of the same tier. The available parts are 64k, 256k, 1024k, and 4096k Chemical Storage Part. Build the smallest part first, then use it as an ingredient when moving up a tier. If none of the fixed sizes fit your build, craft a Custom Chemical Storage Part and combine it into a Custom Chemical Disk.

Combine parts into disks

Take a finished Chemical Storage Part and combine it into the matching Chemical Storage Disk: 64k Chemical Storage Part becomes 64k Chemical Storage Disk, 256k becomes 256k, 1024k becomes 1024k, and 4096k becomes 4096k. The Custom Chemical Storage Part becomes a Custom Chemical Disk. Use the Parts Combiner block to merge components when a recipe calls for combining multiple parts at once.

Use the disks

Slide a finished disk into a Chemical Disk Drive to add its capacity to a Chemical Grid network. A Creative Chemical Storage Disk can be placed the same way when you want unlimited chemical storage without crafting tiers. Keep spare parts on hand so you can upgrade a disk by replacing it with the next tier rather than rebuilding the whole drive.
