How to Lock, Conceal and Style Drawers

Locking a Drawer

Use the Drawer Key on a drawer front to lock it. A locked drawer keeps its assigned item type even when emptied, so the slot does not reset. This is essential in sorting walls where you want each slot to stay dedicated to one item. The Keyring stores several Drawer Keys in one item for convenience.

Concealing Contents

Use the Concealment Key on a drawer to hide its contents and fill bar, giving it a plain face. This is useful for decorative builds where you do not want item icons showing. The Concealment Key Button is the placeable button form.

Button Forms

The Drawer Key Button and Concealment Key Button are wall buttons that apply the key effect to the drawer they are attached to. Place one on a drawer face and press it instead of carrying the key.

Framing and Trims

Use the Framing Table to apply a custom block appearance to Framed Compacting Drawers and Framed Drawer Controllers. Trim blocks (Oak Trim, Birch Trim, Acacia Trim, Bamboo Trim, Cherry Trim, Crimson Trim, Dark Oak Trim, Jungle Trim, and Mangrove Trim) are decorative strips that match each wood type and let you frame a storage wall cleanly.
