How to Link Drawers with a Drawer Controller

Placing the Controller

A Drawer Controller turns a group of touching drawers into one shared inventory. Place the controller against a wall of drawers so it touches at least one drawer face. Every drawer connected through touching faces joins the network.

Using the Controller Interface

Right-click the Drawer Controller to open a combined view of every slot in the network. You can search, insert, and extract from any linked drawer without walking to it. This is the standard way to build a single access point for a large storage wall.

Controller IO and Framed Variants

The Drawer Controller IO adds input and output sides to the controller so hoppers and pipes can feed and drain the network automatically. The Framed Drawer Controller and Framed Drawer Controller IO are the same blocks with a frame that accepts a Framing Table appearance.

Detached Drawers

A Detached Drawer is a drawer block that is not physically connected to the rest of the wall but can still be part of a controller network. Use it to bridge gaps or route storage around corners without running a solid line of drawer blocks.

Tips

Keep the controller adjacent to the wall, not floating. If a drawer does not appear in the controller view, check that it touches another drawer in the network.
