How to Automate Drawers with Upgrades and Hoppers
Feeding Drawers Automatically
Install a Hopper Upgrade on a drawer to give it hopper behavior: it pulls items from the block above and pushes items out the bottom. Combine this with a Drawer Controller IO to route items into a whole controller network from a single input side.
Redstone Signals from Fill Level
Install a Fill Level Upgrade to make a drawer emit a redstone signal proportional to how full it is. Refine the behavior with a Min Redstone Upgrade to set the low threshold and a Max Redstone Upgrade to set the high threshold. Use these to trigger lamps, alarms, or shut off input when a drawer is nearly full.
Pulling Items In
Magnet Upgrade (I), Magnet Upgrade (II), and Magnet Upgrade (III) pull nearby dropped items into the drawer. Higher tiers cover a larger radius. This is useful under mob farms or mining setups where items drop onto the floor.
Balancing and Converting
A Balanced Fill Upgrade spreads incoming items evenly across the drawer's slots instead of filling one slot first. A Conversion Upgrade converts stored items between related forms. For infinite setups, the Creative Storage Upgrade provides unlimited capacity and the Creative Vending Upgrade dispenses items endlessly.
