How to Add and Remove Upgrades on Drawers

Inserting an Upgrade

Upgrades change how a drawer behaves. Hold the upgrade item and right-click the front of a placed drawer. The upgrade is consumed and its effect applies immediately. You can stack multiple upgrades on one drawer as long as they do not conflict.

Available upgrades include:

Fill Level Upgrade — emits a redstone signal based on how full the drawer is.
Min Redstone Upgrade and Max Redstone Upgrade — set the low and high thresholds for redstone output.
Hopper Upgrade — lets the drawer push and pull items like a hopper.
Illumination Upgrade — lights the drawer front.
Balanced Fill Upgrade — spreads incoming items evenly across slots.
Conversion Upgrade — converts stored items between related forms.
Magnet Upgrade (I), (II), (III) — pulls nearby dropped items into the drawer.
Creative Storage Upgrade and Creative Vending Upgrade — infinite storage and infinite dispensing.

Removing an Upgrade

Use the Drawer Key on the drawer to lock or unlock it, and use the Drawer Puller to strip upgrades back off. Right-click the drawer front with the Drawer Puller to pop the installed upgrades out as items so you can reuse them. The Keyring holds multiple Drawer Keys together, and the Drawer Key Button and Concealment Key Button are placeable button forms of those tools.
