When to use half drawers

Half drawers occupy less vertical room than full drawers, so they fit in ceilings, under stairs, and between full blocks. Every wood family in the mod has three half sizes: Half Drawers 1, Half Drawers 2, and Half Drawers 4. The number tells you how many separate drawer slots the block contains.

Crafting them

Half drawers use shaped crafting just like the full versions. Combine the matching wood planks with the drawer components in the half-height layout, and select the 1, 2, or 4 variant based on how many slots you want. For example, Biomesoplenty Magic Half Drawers 4 gives four slots in a half-height block, while Biomesoplenty Magic Half Drawers 1 gives a single slot. The same pattern applies to every family, including Biomeswevegone woods such as Biomeswevegone Aspen Half Drawers 2.

Placement tips

Stack half drawers two-high to match the height of one full drawer block, doubling the number of drawer faces in the same footprint. Use Half Drawers 4 where you need many small categories and Half Drawers 1 where you want a single dedicated slot. Pair them with the matching Trim block to close off the top edge of a half-height row so the wall still looks finished.
