What trim does

Trim is the decorative face block for each wood family. Every family has exactly one: Biomesoplenty Dead Trim, Biomesoplenty Fir Trim, Biomesoplenty Hellbark Trim, Biomesoplenty Jacaranda Trim, Biomesoplenty Magic Trim, Biomesoplenty Mahogany Trim, Biomesoplenty Palm Trim, Biomesoplenty Redwood Trim, Biomesoplenty Umbran Trim, Biomesoplenty Willow Trim, and the Biomeswevegone equivalents such as Biomeswevegone Aspen Trim, Biomeswevegone Baobab Trim, Biomeswevegone Blue Enchanted Trim, Biomeswevegone Cika Trim, and Biomeswevegone Cypress Trim.

Crafting trim

Trim is made with a shaped recipe using the matching wood. Craft a batch before you start a drawer wall so you are not stopping mid-build to make more.

Where to place it

Use trim on the top row of a drawer wall, on exposed side columns, and around doorways or windows cut into the wall. Trim does not add storage slots — it only covers the frame so the drawer faces look inset rather than floating. Match the trim wood to the drawer wood exactly: Biomesoplenty Fir Trim with Fir drawers, Biomeswevegone Cika Trim with Cika drawers, and so on. If you build a wall from several woods, use each wood's own trim on its own section so the seams stay clean.
