How to Use the Cabinet Manager and Cabinet Key

Cabinet Manager

The Cabinet Manager is a block used to access your storage cabinets from one place. Craft the Cabinet Manager, then place it. Use the Cabinet Manager to open an interface that connects to your placed Storage Cabinets.

Set up your cabinets near the Cabinet Manager so they are within its working range. Once linked, you can deposit and withdraw items through the Cabinet Manager instead of opening each cabinet individually. This is useful when you have several tiers placed side by side, such as a Wood Storage Cabinet next to an Iron Storage Cabinet.

Cabinet Key

The Cabinet Key is a crafted item used to lock and unlock cabinets. Use the Cabinet Key on a Storage Cabinet to lock it. Use it again on the same cabinet to unlock it. Locked cabinets stay closed to other players while you keep the key.

Keep the Cabinet Key in your inventory when you lock cabinets. If you lose the key, you cannot unlock the cabinet until you obtain another Cabinet Key.

Combining Both

Lock your cabinets with the Cabinet Key, then manage them through the Cabinet Manager. This keeps your stock secure while still giving you fast access. If you need to move a locked cabinet, use the Storage Cabinet Dolly to pick it up with its contents and lock state intact.
