Troubleshooting: Tram Won't Start or Respond to Controls
Check Power and Systems
1. Verify the circuit breaker is ON: Look at your dashboard and ensure the main power switch is activated. If it's off, the tram won't respond to any controls.
2. Check for additional safety switches: Some tram models have multiple switches that must all be engaged before operation.
3. Confirm overhead power (if applicable): If your tram uses overhead wires, ensure the wire infrastructure is properly installed above the track.
Track and Positioning Issues
- Tram won't move: Verify the track is properly connected and aligned. Gaps or misaligned segments prevent movement.
- Tram derails on curves: Check that curves are gradual and track segments connect smoothly.
- Stuck on inclines: Soviet trams have limited climbing ability—avoid steep grades.
Control Key Problems
- Confirm your throttle and brake keys are correctly bound in your controls settings
- Test keys outside the cabin to ensure they're not conflicting with other mods
- Try re-entering the cabin if controls become unresponsive
Last Resort
If the tram remains unresponsive, exit the cabin and check for block obstructions on the track ahead.
