How to Get Started with Tungsten and Chorundum

Mining the Ores

Two ore blocks gate most of the mod's gear: §eTungsten Ore and §eChorundum Ore. Mine §eTungsten Ore to drop §eRaw Tungsten, then smelt or blast it into §eTungsten Ingot. §eChorundum Ore drops §eChorundum directly. Both ores feed the crafting, smelting, and blasting recipe types, so a furnace or blast furnace is enough to start.

Turning Ingots into Gear

Once you have §eTungsten Ingot, you can craft the full tungsten set: §eTungsten Helmet, §eTungsten Chestplate, §eTungsten Leggings, §eTungsten Boots, §eTungsten Sword, §eTungsten Pickaxe, §eTungsten Axe, §eTungsten Shovel, §eTungsten Hoe, §eTungsten Shield, and §eTungsten Hammer. §eChorundum feeds the parallel chorundum set: §eChorundum Helmet, §eChorundum Chestplate, §eChorundum Leggings, §eChorundum Boots, §eChorundum Sword, §eChorundum Pickaxe, §eChorundum Axe, §eChorundum Shovel, §eChorundum Hoe, and §eChorundum Shield.

Warted Gear

§eWarted Helmet, §eWarted Chestplate, §eWarted Leggings, §eWarted Boots, and §eWarted Shield round out the armor options. Keep a stack of each ingot type banked before you commit to a full set, since the smithing_transform recipes also consume materials.
