The Hammer Line

The mod adds a full hammer progression: §eWooden Hammer, §eStone Hammer, §eIron Hammer, §eGolden Hammer, §eDiamond Hammer, §eNetherite Hammer, §eTungsten Hammer, and §cNether Hammer. Each tier is crafted from its base material the same way you would expect for a heavy tool, and each one is a large-area mining tool rather than a single-block pickaxe.

What Hammers Are For

Use a hammer when you need to clear lots of stone, netherrack, or dungeon brick quickly. They break a wide area per swing, which makes them ideal for carving tunnels through the mod's dungeon structures and for harvesting the mod's decorative brick blocks in bulk. Bring the hammer that matches the material you are mining so you do not waste durability on blocks it cannot break.

Picking the Right Tier

Start with §eWooden Hammer or §eStone Hammer for early clearing. Upgrade to §eIron Hammer and §eGolden Hammer once you have ingots to spare. §eDiamond Hammer and §eNetherite Hammer handle the tougher dungeon materials. §eTungsten Hammer is the mod-material upgrade once you have processed §eTungsten Ingot. §cNether Hammer is the top of the line and is worth building before you tackle the mod's nether-themed content.

Practical Tips

Carry a normal pickaxe alongside your hammer for precise single-block work. Repair or replace hammers before they break mid-dungeon, since losing one deep inside a structure is costly.
