Building with the Mod's Brick Sets

The Brick Families

Four decorative families cover most builds: Purpur Bricks (with Purpur Bricks Slab, Purpur Bricks Stairs, Purpur Bricks Wall), Purpur Bricks And Endstone (with slab and stairs variants), Soul Bricks (with slab and stairs), and the nether mixes — Nether Bricks And Netherrack and Nether Bricks And Soul Sand, each with slab and stairs. Chiseled End Stone Bricks and Cracked End Stone Bricks are the end-themed accents.

Crafting vs Stonecutting

All of these are made either at a crafting table (crafting_shaped) or a stonecutter (stonecutting). The stonecutter gives you slabs, stairs, and walls from a single parent block, which is the efficient route when you are tiling a large floor. Use the crafting table when you need the parent block itself.

Matching Dungeon Palettes

Keeping Castle Spawn uses the purpur and end stone families. Awful Dungeons Spawn and the nether altars use the soul and netherrack mixes. Soul Magma Bricks and Soul Tiles are the accent blocks for the soul palette. Build with the same family the dungeon uses and your additions will blend in.
