Switch Between Atmospheric Presets

Accessing the Preset Menu

Static Dream Terminal includes 11 distinct atmospheric profiles, each designed to create different moods within the liminal horror aesthetic. To switch between them:

1. Open your shader settings menu (typically accessed via the Shader Options button in Video Settings)

2. Look for the profile or preset selection option

3. Browse through the available atmospheric profiles

4. Select your desired preset to apply it immediately to your world

Choosing the Right Mood

Each preset adjusts fog density, lighting color, and visual distortion differently. Some presets emphasize thick, suffocating fog for maximum isolation, while others enhance the VHS scanline effect or intensify the CRT monitor aesthetic. Experiment with different presets during different times of day or in different biomes to see how each one transforms your surroundings.

You can switch presets at any time without reloading your world, making it easy to find the perfect atmosphere for your current gameplay session or creative build.
