Display a Custom Player Skin on a Mannequin
Getting the Skin Data
To display a specific player's skin, you need either their username or custom skin data. The easiest method is using the player's username directly.
Applying the Skin
1. Place a mannequin in your world and right-click it to open the notebook menu
2. Locate the username field in the menu interface
3. Type the exact Minecraft username of the player whose skin you want to display
4. Confirm the entry—the mannequin will render that player's skin
Using Custom Skin Data
If you want to use a custom skin that isn't tied to an active account:
1. Obtain the skin data from a player head give command (these contain encoded skin information)
2. Open the mannequin's notebook menu
3. Paste the custom skin data into the appropriate field
4. The mannequin will apply the custom skin immediately
Model Variants
The mod supports both standard Steve and slim Alex player models. The correct model type will automatically apply based on the skin data you provide, so no manual selection is needed.
