Customize Nether and End Dimension Lighting
Access Dimension-Specific Settings
Open the shader menu and look for sections labeled Nether, End, or Dimension Settings. Some shaders apply these automatically, while others let you fine-tune them.
Nether Ambient Glow Adjustments
For the Nether:
- Ambient brightness – Controls the warm glow that fills the dimension
- Ambient color – Usually warm orange/red; some shaders let you adjust the hue
- Lava glow intensity – Enhances how lava illuminates surroundings
- Fog color in Nether – Often matches the ambient tone for consistency
Increase ambient brightness for a more oppressive, glowing atmosphere.
End Dimension Deep Space Customization
For the End:
- Star brightness – Controls visibility of stars in the void
- Ambient darkness – Makes the dimension feel more like deep space
- God ray intensity – Affects light from the central island
- Void color – Customizes the deep space appearance
Test Both Dimensions
Visit each dimension and adjust settings until the atmosphere matches your preference. The Nether should feel warm and oppressive, while the End should feel vast and cosmic.
