Level Up Your Spells to Reduce Mana Costs
How Spell Leveling Works
Every time you cast a spell in the world, it gains experience toward the next rank. Spells progress from Rank I through Rank III, and each rank reduces the mana cost of that spell. This means frequently-used spells become cheaper to cast as you master them.
Steps to Level Your Spells
1. Cast spells regularly — Use your favorite spells in combat, exploration, or practice. Each cast counts toward progression.
2. Check your progress — Open your Atlas (book icon in inventory) and view individual spell stats to see current rank and experience.
3. Focus on key spells — Prioritize leveling spells you use most often to maximize mana savings in extended battles.
4. Track cooldown timers — The Atlas displays real-time cooldown information, helping you plan spell rotations while they level.
Tips
- Leveling happens passively, so there's no special action required—just keep casting.
- Higher-rank spells deal the same damage but cost less mana, making them more efficient for sustained combat.
- Combine leveled spells with School Familiars and perk upgrades for even greater effectiveness.
